Coir Carpet that she had acquired a few years ago. At first I was really surprised that she was selling
Coir Carpet as it seemed to be the very height of fashion at the moment and I would have thought that she wanted the
Coir Carpet in her own house rather than sell it for a fraction of the cost at a car boot sale. My friend said that she completely understood what I meant but that she was in a difficult situation because she had bought the carpet a long time ago and her husband had been adamant that he wanted stripped floorboards so she had to compromise since he let her have free rein of all the other decoration in their house. She agreed with me that it was a real shame to sell such lovely carpet at such a discount price but said that it was just taking up valuable space in their home and they needed to get rid of it. I understood and we did have a fun day at the car boot sale. We both decided that it was a great exercise in people watching and, in addition to that, we made one hundred pounds in total. All in all good day`s work.
